2013 UPDATES
Enjoy nearly 700 square feet of creation space with eleven individual ‘creation’ stations. Each station measures 30” wide by 48-60” long, is supplied with full spectrum lighting and has easy access to plenty of power. In addition, the prep room is only steps away; here you can spread out those tools and supplies that need additional room. The creation space is set up in its own wing so you can create to your heart's content without disturbing those who go to bed early or sleep late! Craftin’ by the Creek also has Wi-Fi, a flat screen television, an i-Pod docking station, a computer & printer, cutting table, and two irons and ironing boards for your use.
The four bedrooms will comfortably sleep up to eleven family and friends – with everyone getting their own twin bed; the home can accommodate up to twelve occupants (bunkbed). In addition, Craftin’ by the Creek has two and a half baths; one on each of the three levels - convenient for both sleeping, and crafting. Finally, amenities such as bedding, towels, wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, as well as a first floor washer & dryer are provided.
After enjoying a day of crafting, switch gears and take pleasure in preparing your meals in a beautiful, fully functional, custom kitchen with stainless steel appliances and solid surface countertops. Or bring your already prepared food and serve it buffet-style on over 25 lineal feet of counter space. The spacious, hand-crafted table seats eight with three additional seats at the breakfast bar. After dinner, fill the dishwasher so you can quickly get back to your crafting. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the basic cookware and utensils needed to prepare, and enough tableware for up to 12 guests.
In addition, guests can relax watching an unlimited number of movies (online service) in the theater room, lounge out on the large southern-facing deck (weather permitting), walk down by the creek or in one of the local parks, sit around the onsite campfire, or take a short walk for drinks and dinner at the local pub & grill.
Making a Reservation
Weekend Rates (Friday thru Sunday) for a reservation of 8 guests plus the host (free) is $95 per guest per weekend; for a reservation of 10 guests plus the host (free) is $85 per guest per weekend; fewer than 8 or up to 12 can be accommodated. All rates subject to Wisconsin's 5.5% sales tax. Friday arrival time - you may arrive anytime during the day. Sunday departure time - before 8:00 p.m. Thursday thru Sunday stays are also available.
For a host to reserve a date, please do the following:
- Check the online calendar for open dates.
- Contact Carrie or Steve with the number of guests you are expecting, not including yourself. You may reach us via email at steve@craftinbythecreek.com or phone 608.212.9395 to reserve a date.
- You will receive an email confirmation of the request with a Rental Agreement and the online calendar reservation will be marked as tentative.
- To hold the reservation, send a $100 deposit and a signed copy of the Rental Agreement within 10 days of receiving the agreement. If the deposit is not received within the 10 day period, the date will be reopened to other parties.
- At this time we are only accepting check, cash or money order as a method of payment. [For your financial safety, please do not send cash or money order via mail.] The deposit check should be made out to Andersen Rentals.
- When the deposit has been received, the online calendar reservation will no longer be marked as tentative and a confirmation email will be sent to you with a User Agreement. As the host, we would ask that you provide this agreement to all guests.
- The full balance is due 30 days prior to the retreat date. If the full balance is not received within 30 days of the retreat date, your reservation may be cancelled with no refund of the deposit.
- Reservations cancelled more than 90 days in advance of the retreat date are eligible for a full refund. If it becomes necessary for you to cancel the retreat with less than 90 days notice, please notify us immediately. If we can rent your reserved dates, we will gladly apply the deposit and/or other payment to an available retreat date within the next 6 months.
Craftin’ by the Creek is a smoke free facility & no pets allowed.
The $100 deposit will be returned within 3 days after the rental date to the host after inspection of the premises.
